The Shanghai Exhibition Center will once again be the venue of LPS Shanghai on Dec 6-8, 2024. This historical venue, built in 1955, is located on the famous Nanjing West Road, in the heart of downtown Shanghai. This strategic central location makes it very convenient for Shanghai-based investors to access LPS Shanghai 2024 from any part of the city.

In the heart of Jing’An District

The Shanghai Exhibition Center is located in the heart of Jing’An district, the most central of the 15 districts that compose Shanghai. Jing’an District was named after Jing’an Temple, an impressive traditional Chinese Buddhist temple that is located a few hundred meters away from the Shanghai Exhibition Center.

Located on West Nanjing Road

West Nanjing Road is Shanghai’s most famous – and upscale – shopping street. It is home to the flagship stores of countless luxury brands such as Prada, Tiffany & Co., Fendi, Bvlgari, Versace, Bottega Veneta, Rolex, Burberry, Omega, Ralph Lauren, Roberto Cavalli, Jimmy Choo, Stella McCartney, Guerlain, Van Cleef & Arpels, Chaumet, Piaget, among many others.

Opposite the Portman Ritz-Carlton Hotel

Right in front of the Shanghai Exhibition Center lies the 5-star Portman Ritz-Carlton Hotel. Built in 1990 by Atlanta-based American Architect John C. Portman Jr, the 5-star Portman Ritz-Carlton Shanghai was the first Ritz-Carlton to open in mainland China and one of the first luxury hotels of international standard to open in Shanghai. Since that time, the pioneering hotel has kept a special place in the heart of Shanghai’s residents, as one of the most historical hotels in town.

The hotel belongs to a larger complex building called the “Shanghai Center” that is home to many consulates and government offices of countries such as Australia, Brazil, Canada, Ireland, the Philippines, the United States, etc. The hotel has been fully renovated in 2017, and is the Official Hotel of LPS Shanghai 2023, welcoming many of LPS exhibitors, sponsors and VIP delegates.

50 meters away from Shanghai’s most famous luxury mall

Neighboring the Portman Ritz-Carlton, Plaza 66 is Shanghai’s most famous luxury shopping mall. Built in 2006 by Hong Kong’s giant real estate developer Hang Lung Properties, Plaza 66 remains the 7th tallest skyscraper in town. The mall hosts Shanghai’s flagship stores of Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Chanel, Dior, Cartier, Zegna, among many others.

Facing the Shangri-La Flagship Hotel

Completed in 2004, and located right across the West side of the Shanghai Exhibition Center, the Jing-An Shangri-La is widely regarded as one of the most luxurious and modern properties of the famous Shangri-La hotel group. The hotel features over 500 rooms and suites and features some the the city’s most desirable restaurants and bars.

Next to the Kerry Center

Two minutes walking distance from the Shanghai Exhibition Center lies the Kerry Center, one of Shanghai’s largest integrated development that boasts 86,000-square-meter of retail space, 152,000 square meters of office space,  18,000 square meters of residential real estate, and a 136,000-square-meter underground car park.
