Certified Organic & Focused on Quality
Chateau de Bellevue is an organic winery in Lussac Saint-Emilion, North-east of Bordeaux. The vineyard in Chateau de Bellevue is certified by France and the EU as organic.
Professional Winemakers
The wine-producing team at Chateau de Bellevue, consulted and led by Hubert De Bouard from Chateau Angelus, is committed in professional and tranditional winecraft, as well as preserving natural elements in both the environment and the wine by adopting eco-friendly methods, bunch harvesting, and avoiding artificial and harmful chemicals.
The vineyard at Chateau de Bellevue grows 3 grape varieties, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Sauvignon Gris. Merlot and Cabernet Franc are commonly used in our Bordeaux blend red wine for a fruity, full-bodied, and layered complexion. Our single-variety white wine is made from 100% Sauvignon Gris, differentiating our white wine from others produced in Bordeaux. Sauvignon Gris gives our white wine a unique tropical fruit and citrusy flavor with hints of melon and peach.
