The Gerdine Hoeve was founded in 1991 by Paul van Rijswijk. Since 2000, Aniek van Santvoort has joined the company and they have continued the Gerdine Hoeve together.
Under the leadership of Paul and Aniek, large numbers of horses showed up at the KWPN inspections. They have prepared many champions and approved stallions. Horses are still prepared for inspection on a smaller scale, but since 2008 Paul and Aniek have focussed especially on the export of horses. China is their largest sales market. Countless horses have flown from the Netherlands to China under the professional guidance of Paul and Aniek.

Onder leiding van Paul en Aniek kwamen er grote aantallen paarden op de KWPN-keuringen. Zij hebben vele kampioenen en goedgekeurde hengsten voorbereid. Nog steeds worden paarden keuringsklaar gemaakt op kleinere schaal, maar sinds 2008 richten Paul en Aniek zich vooral op de export van paarden. China is hun grootste afzetmarkt. Onder de professionele begeleiding van Paul en Aniek zijn talloze paarden vanuit Nederland naar China gevlogen.
