MOON Architects was Based in Shanghai and founded in 2017. Projects led by MOON Architects vary in scale, ranging from interior projects to buildings and masterplans, providing creative architectural solutions for clients who look for quality while creating spatial forms and awareness of different possibilities.
In the design philosophy of MOON Architects , we firmly believe that architects must have a strong sense of mission and social responsibility. Our research focuses on mountains, waters, and Chinese gardens as the source of ideas, inheriting traditional Chinese architecture and promoting its transformation and development into contemporary architectural language, building an organic life form of coexistence between humans and nature, and achieving environmental sustainability as our mission. We hope that architecture can become an important force for cultural expression and social participation. In the process of design practice, MOON Architects advocates holistic thinking and interdisciplinary collaboration, eliminating the boundaries between architecture, interior, and landscape, achieving integrated design. Through comprehensive design methods, works are not limited to a single type and positioning, and continue to engage in diversified practices for natural construction at the scale, type, and location of the project. We study various problems in cities, analyze the behavioral needs of users, and through innovative research and design, transform a series of problems and troubles into fun, providing comprehensive solutions that can be promoted and popularized; Awakening urban memory and vitality through urban renewal; We are involved in rural projects to provide artistic acupuncture and moxibustion activation paths; We focus on the innovation and shaping of consumer brand experience scenarios, combining interdisciplinary design thinking with brand business strategies to create greater value for the brand.
