Czech Tourist Authority – CzechTourism is an official tourism authority under the Ministry of Regional Development of the Czech Republic. It promotes the Czech Republic abroad and at home as an attractive tourist destination.
Partners of CzechTourism include representatives of regional institutions, representatives of tourist regions, destination managements, municipalities and the members of business community.
Activities of Czech Tourism are targeted to address the international public and professional community and inform about uniqueness of the Czech Republic. Its aim is to inspire tourists to visit in order to continuously increase the number of visitors. CzechTourism has 19 representative offices in Asia, America and Europe systematically promoting Czech Republic in media and participating in the main travel fairs, exhibitions and other events. CzechTourism marketing strategy for following years is to promote the Czech Republic as a Land of Stories, where every place has its own story to offer to the visitors and to let them experience their own unique story.
Czech Republic as so called picturesque heart of Europe has a lot to offer: its capital city of Prague, also called the Mother of Cities, 12 towns inscribed on the UNESCO list of cultural and natural heritage, spa towns, or the city of Pilsen, awarded the European Capital of Culture for the year 2015. CzechTourism is also promoting winter and summer holiday destinations in the four Czech National parks as well as MICE products in Czech Republic.
