Initially established in New York, Mutiara NYC embarks on its journey at Young Designers’ Market in NoLita. The Founder and Chief Designer Jozie Lin has travelled and lived in different cities, and consequently gone through a variety of changes in design elements and styles.

“Mutiara”means“pearls”in its original language, which carries an elegant meaning as well as pronunciation. Mutiara NYC studies meanings of different kinds of semi-precious stones and adapts those to create interesting visual combinations. It is a brand that makes continuous efforts implanting in-depth philosophical concepts into its works, and wishes to inspire its wearers the same way.
